Here is a fun card using some of the products you can still get.  It is a PERFECT for mother's day, an anniversary or just to say you care! 

I used the Heart Framelits to make the cute frame for the flower.  First see what size heart will fit around your stamped image.  Stack your Big Shot sandwich and place this small heart on the colored card stock.  Then place the next size up heart around the small heart, so they are nestled inside one another, you can use a post it note to hold them into place.  Put both hearts through the Big Shot at the same time.  Repeat, so you have 2 of these "frames".  Stamp your image on white card stock and cut out using the larger of the 2 hearts you just cut.  Place 1 frame directly on the white Heart, giving it a border.  Use dimensionals to put the second frame on.  This gives it a cute shadow box look.

2012 RETIRING LISTS ARE OUT

The new catalog is just around the corner and will be here June 1.  I will have catalogs available the last week of May.  Please let me know if you want one. 

In order to have new products, Stampin' Up! needs to say goodbye to others.  There are 2 lists of retired items.  Please click on the links below to see each of the lists. 

 

I don't want you to panic when you look at the Accessories List.  There are several Classic Ink Pads and Reinkers on the list.  Stampin' Up! is revising these items.  The new ink pads will have a firm foam pad and the ink has been modified some.  The new reinkers will work in existing ink pads.  None of the colors are actually retiring and leaving.  There are several single markers also on the list.  These colors will still be available in a color collection set, but will not be available individually.  Only some marker colors will be in the new catalog as an individual item.  If you want one of these colors, now is a great time to get them. 

The true retiring colors will be the 2010-2012 In Color Collection (Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride, Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz).  If you want any items in these colors, get them NOW.  Once they are gone they are gone. 

Note that the ACCESSORIES are on a first come first serve basis. You will also find several of the accessories are discounted and great buys!  If you want a complete list, please email me and I will send you one directly.

Open House Special

I had an Open House over the weekend and everyone had a great time.  I will post some of the projects we made over the next few days.  Today, I wanted to share my Open House Special with all of you and give you an opportunity to take advantage of it, even if you could not make it to the event.  The Special will be available only through March 10.

 

These cases are a great way to keep your new Framelit or Edgelit dies safe and easy to find.  There is a magnetic piece on the inside where all of the dies will be stored.  This way they always stay flat and you don't have to worry about them bending in storage.  Here are some pictures of the case:

 

This special is good regardless of if you order the bundle on line (each item ordered separately) or with me.  I will mail you your case.

Please note that the cases will vary in DSP design and may not be what you see in my sample.  There will be a lable on the side.  You can put your instructions in the front under the clear plastic like I did, no adhesive necessary.  Your case will only have the DSP.

I hope everyone is enjoying this great weather we are having here Sonoma County!  I just love indian summer, cool in the morning and beautiful in the afternoon. 

Well, are you getting ready for Christmas yet?  I have finally had a chance to design the cards for my Make Your Christmas Cards Classes on November 30 and December 2.  At this class you will make 20 identical Christmas cards.  You choose the card you want to make.  Class fee includes stamp set. I want to thank my friend Jolene Harms for the inspiration for card #1.  I made some slight adjustments to the card she made.

I don't want to exclude anyone from being able to join in on this fun class.  So, if you are out of my area and would like to participate in the class, you are more than welcome to join in.  You will choose your card and for an additional $10, you will get all the materials to make your cards, including ribbons, punched and textured pieces, etc.  You will get the stamp set, but will have to provide your own ink and saying.  For cards #1, #5 and #6, it is also recommended (but not required) that you have a coordinating punch to make things easier, or you will have to do some cutting. 

If you would like to make an extra set of 20 of the same cards, the fee is $25.
